Lord of Light Lutheran Church, a small congregation and campus ministry to the University of Michigan is seeking a part-time keyboardist. The community of Lord of Light celebrates and supports fine music making of many genres and of cultures from around the world. Duties include playing for the Sunday morning service, accompanying the choir at a mid-week rehearsal, and playing at a mid-week prayer service. Experience on both organ and piano is preferred, although candidates with strong skills on either instrument are encouraged to apply. Cantata Academy Chorale

Position: Music Director and Conductor

Cantata Academy Chorale has an opening for its Music Director and Conductor position. This is a part-time, paid position. The Chorale, now in its 49th season, is an auditioned adult chorus. Each year it produces its own subscription concert series and hires out to orchestras, churches and other concert series. Its concerts are presented throughout Southeast Michigan. The Cantata Academy Chorale has appeared with every major orchestra in the metropolitan Detroit area, including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. In addition, from 1973 through 2005, the Chorale has made biennial tours to Europe. During its 49 years, there have been 4 Music Director/Conductors. The Chorale holds weekly rehearsals during the academic year. The present location for rehearsals is in Warren, MI.
